Happy Spring! Clays of the month: Low fire MCWG and Red Sculpture! Duncan Glazes and Mason Stains on Sale and More!$
Have you ever considered ball-milling your glazes? We have just the thing for you! It’s not beautiful, but it works great.
We’re selling it along with everything you need to get started milling today: the mill itself, along with about 20 lbs of milling media (alumina) in various sizes from pea to ping-pong ball, and plastic jars that fit the rollers. It’s a three-level machine, with two levels currently hooked up and working. To get the third level working, you would need to connect a chain.
The only reason we’re selling it is that we’ve stopped using the glaze that needed milling, and aren’t currently experimenting with the natural materials that work best when milled.
Check the craigslist listing in the link for pictures.
