Hello Jose,

I am a professor at the San Francisco Art Institute and I teach ceramic slip-casting and mold making. My students use commercial molds to utilize parts for unique sculptures. A new inventory would be inspiring. I'm interested in your donation, when were you planning to move out the molds ? Classes are almost over but perhaps I could arrange for a truck with some students.
Thanks for your time,
John de Fazio

This clay would usually be bisqued at either 06 or 04 depending on what type of glazes you intended to use on it. If you bisqued it to 6 then the clay particles would have vitrified enough that the glaze will not stick to it's surface. you will get better results if you bisque to the cooler temps of 06 (if you're going to glaze fire to 6) or 04 (if you're going to use low-fire glazes).

I bisque fired this clay to cone 6 and the glaze did not want to stick. Is that small amount of temperature difference that huge when it comes to glazing?
